Subrite AS is the data controller for the personal data we process via subrite.no.

We collect only the personal data needed to communicate with you and to operate subrite.no:
- Email address you provide when you sign up for our newsletter

- Operating, securing and improving the subrite.no website
- Fulfilling agreements with customers who use the Subrite SaaS

- Consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)) for newsletters and marketing
- Contract (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)) for customers who use the Subrite SaaS
- Legitimate interests (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)) for responding to inquiries and for operating and improving subrite.no
5. Subrite as a data processor
When customers use the Subrite SaaS to manage their own members and subscribers, Subrite AS acts as a data processor on the customer's behalf. A separate Data Processing Agreement (DPA) governs that relationship.
6. Sharing of data
We do not share your personal data with third parties, with the exception of:
- Technical service providers (such as hosting, email delivery and analytics) that are necessary to operate our services, bound by data processing agreements
- Public authorities, if we are legally required to do so
We never sell, rent or share your personal data with commercial actors.
7. Transfers outside the EU/EEA
If we use service providers located outside the EU/EEA, we ensure adequate safeguards are in place, such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
8. Storage and security
Personal data is stored on secure systems and protected with appropriate technical and organisational measures to prevent unauthorised access, loss or misuse. We keep your data only as long as it is necessary for the purposes it was collected for, or as required by law.
