Installation
Welcome to the installation guide for Subrite! This section will walk you through the process of setting up Subrite.
OAuth integration
Let users sign in to your application with their Subrite account through the OIDC web application flow with PKCE: redirect to the login page, exchange the code for tokens, refresh tokens, log out, and call the member API.
Third-party API integration
How a third-party application authenticates with an M2M token and calls the Subrite API to find, list, create and update members, create subscriptions, and read packages, podcasts and assets.
Webhooks
Webhooks let your integration react to activity in Subrite. When a subscribed event happens, Subrite sends an HTTP request to the URL you configured.
Content Channels
Give subscribers access to premium content on websites and forums. Link Subrite products to a Content Channel, then ask the Subrite API which channels a member or an IP address can access.
Podcasts
Offer premium podcast content to your subscribers through podcast platforms such as Spotify, using a private RSS feed and a digital subscription in Subrite.
Push notifications
Let app users subscribe to push notifications about new content. Set up Firebase Cloud Messaging, integrate subscribe and unsubscribe in your app, and trigger pushes from your CMS or server.
Email API
Send emails to your members from your own system with the Subrite email API. Set up an M2M token, look up senders, lists and templates, then send, schedule, test or edit emails.
Email widget
Collect email addresses and consent from website visitors with a customizable popup widget. Six steps take you from creating the widget to embedding it on your site.
Consent API
Let an external system register or withdraw a member's consent in Subrite through the consents API, using an M2M token and the integration ID of the consent.
Ecommerce data
Sync orders from your ecommerce platform to Subrite with the custom orders API. Covers credentials, authentication, the create or update order endpoint, error codes and best practices.
