Smarter and Faster – 10 Recent Upgrades
This fall, we’ve continued building tools that help you grow revenue and save time. From smarter member insights to automatic webshop imports, newsletter widgets, and Vipps login — here’s a look at the latest improvements across Subrite.

What We’ve Been Building This Fall at Subrite
At Subrite, our mission stays simple and focused:
help you grow your revenue and reduce manual work.
Every new feature, every small improvement, and every infrastructure upgrade we build is designed with that in mind — to make your everyday work smoother, smarter, and more efficient.
This fall has been packed with updates across the platform. Here’s a look at 10 recent improvements we’ve launched to help you better understand your members, sell more subscriptions, and save time.
1. Member Insights – A Complete Overview of Each Member
We’ve launched a brand-new Insights tab on the member card!
Now you can instantly see how much revenue each member has generated and compare it against the average for your entire base.
At the top right of the member card, you’ll always see:
- Total revenue from the past three years
- Number of active days on the current subscription
This gives you an at-a-glance understanding of both value and engagement.
And we’re not stopping there — soon you’ll be able to view insights based on average daily income and even website visits, all in one place for a full 360° member view.

2. Automatic Import of Webshop Orders
You can now automatically import order data from your webshop directly into each member’s profile.
This means you get a complete picture of member profitability — across both subscriptions and one-off purchases.
Order data summaries now appear under /insight, right next to subscription revenue. Filter by time period to track performance over time.
We’re also expanding our data integrations — soon, your subscription, webshop, and website analytics will come together in one shared data foundation.

3. Newsletter Signup Widgets
Want more newsletter readers? You can now create signup widgets or landing pages directly from Subrite.
Choose which list the widget connects to, customize the text and colors, and get a ready-made code snippet or link to embed anywhere.
This works seamlessly whether you send newsletters via Subrite, Make, or Mailchimp.

4. RSS-Driven Newsletters
If you publish multiple stories a day, RSS newsletters can save you hours.
Subrite now supports automated RSS newsletters, pulling fresh content directly from your CMS via our API.
You control who receives it through your consent settings and lists in Subrite — and subscribers can manage their preferences easily via My Page or the unsubscribe link.
5. Grow Newsletter Signups From Your Articles
With Subrite’s API, you can now add newsletter signup forms directly in your articles.
When signup options appear right where readers are already engaged, conversions go up naturally.
Popular use cases:
- Signup on the homepage for easy access
- Signup gates before reading premium content
We’ll gladly show you how to increase both newsletter readership and paid subscriptions with this setup.

6. Vipps Login
You can now enable Vipps login directly from the admin panel.
Go to Account Settings → Settings → Login Methods.
You’ll need your Client ID, Secret Keys, and a Redirect URL from your Vipps portal — and you’re good to go.
Vipps login works seamlessly alongside SMS or email login, giving end users the flexibility to choose their preferred method.
7. Better Lists and Segmentation
One of Subrite’s biggest strengths is how easily you can create lists and send targeted emails or SMS messages — no exports needed.
We’ve improved the logic behind queries and added new filters so you can fine-tune your audience even more precisely.
New filters include:
- Inactive members – for win-back campaigns targeting lapsed users
- Group owner/payer vs. invited members – great for understanding who’s paying and who’s included in shared subscriptions
All lists can be used for direct communication in just a few clicks. More segmentation options are coming soon!

8. Custom Campaign Period Texts
Running campaigns in Subrite has always been flexible — you can adjust text, images, pricing, payment methods, and more.
Now you can go a step further by fully customizing the period text itself, giving you total control over how your offer appears.

9. Register Paid Invoice Orders
For those using invoice payments, you can now manually create new orders or subscriptions and mark the invoice as paid right away.
This is especially helpful when a customer has already transferred money manually, and you want to ensure their subscription starts correctly — with eFaktura or EHF enabled for future renewals.

10. Infrastructure Upgrades
Behind the scenes, we’ve made a number of technical improvements that make Subrite even more robust and reliable.
These upgrades reduce downtime risk, strengthen payment handling, and ensure everything runs smoothly when thousands of transactions happen at once.
Looking Ahead
We’re continuously improving Subrite to help you sell more, work smarter, and engage better with your audience.
Thank you for all the feedback and collaboration — every insight helps us make Subrite a little better for everyone.
Until next time: keep growing your subscriptions and memberships! 🚀
