# Step 4: Manage settings

**Summary:** Activate or deactivate the email widget in the Settings tab, or delete it with all its data. The widget only appears when it is both active and published.

Manage your email widget's activation status and removal through the Settings tab.

## Widget activation

To make your widget work, toggle it to **Active** and make sure it is **Published** (not in draft mode).

- **Active**: The widget is operational and visible to visitors
- **Inactive**: The widget is disabled and won't appear to any visitors

### Delete widget

- **Purpose**: Completely remove the widget and all associated data
- **Process**: Click the delete button, confirm the warnings, and then give the final confirmation
